For Aspiring Writers

So, you’ve decided to become a writer. Great! Wonderful! Supervious! This world is always in need of more storytellers. Whether you fancy writing science fiction, romance, non-fiction, children’s, history, horror, or fantasy, being a writer is an endless adventure. One of my favorite quotes of all times is said by Toni Morrion:
“If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.”
Now, that you’ve established that you’re a writer, you go ahead and craft out your first book. It’s done. Congratulants! Writing out an entire book takes discipline, determination, and devotion. Most importantly it proves your seriousness to the trade.
Right. You’ve written your book, now what? Publish it? With Amazon’s free self-publishing option, publishing has become so simple, it’s only a few clicks away. But wait! Before you go off and press that publish button, ask yourself these questions:
. I wrote this book, but I have truly learned all there is to know about the art or writing?
. Will my book be able to stand up with other high quality novels already out there?
. Is my book ready for the world to read?
. Am I ready to be a published author?
If you’re asking yourself any of these questions, than consider what you need to do in order to improve.
